Tell us who you are. My name is Bobbianne and I am the founder and owner of The Lotus Label. I left my retail management job of 10 years to pursue my true dream and that is how The Lotus Label was born. The lotus flower is known for growing through dark and murky waters to rise above the water and I truly resonate with that belief and have come up with the brand phrase “Keep rising through the water like a lotus” to help people feel inspired and never give up on their dreams.

How did you become interested in macrame?
I have always enjoyed being hands on and learning new crafts/talents. In January of 2021, I began experimenting with macrame. My passion is functional home decor and macrame I have found is the perfect art for that!

My Etsy shop is the perfect destination for functional home decor and other fun accessories that make great gifts as well as personal use items. My goal is to be a shop for everyone offering a wide array of products and pricing.

I sell a variety of fiber art items from macrame to sewing. You can find facemasks, home decor, personalized gifts and seasonal items in my shop.

What are you favorite projects?
My macrame storage basket is my favorite project because it was an item that took many tries and prototyping to get right. After nailing the design, it was received so well by customers that it was the ultimate reward.

Do you find it interesting that you have your macrame hammocks on boats and RV’s traveling the world?
Of course! Any time I see my creations in someone’s personal life it brings the biggest smile to my face. Knowing my products are loved and are in so many different walks of life is a feeling I cannot describe.

If you were a drink what would you be and why?
Coffee with a side of wine. I’m constantly go go go and I am always creating new products and trying new things. I’m wired like a cup of coffee and chaotic (IN A GOOD WAY!) after a few glasses of wine. It’s hard to maintain my excited personality!
