Well, I decided to give you my own best places and websites to find the best deals.
In brief, here are my recommendations:
Ask around your own DZ, ask your friend skydivers if they know someone. Let them also know you are looking for that piece of equipment. You can also post on your fun jumper FB group if you have one.
Dropzone.com is a great site that has been around for a while, you can find great information on their forum and they also have a “Classified” section.

Check on your favorite skydiving dealer’s website and you are most likely to find a “used gear” section.
Ex: Chutingstar has some good used equipment - http://www.chutingstar.com/skydive/used-skydiving-gear
Groups are now a great place for finding used gear especially since they created the Marketplace. You can simply do a general search to find them using keywords like: “skydiving gear for sale”, “used skydiving gear”, etc. You’ll then find all sort of groups and here are some examples:
- Canada: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=260485063971337&ref=br_rs
- Aus: https://www.facebook.com/groups/441658092552924/?ref=br_rs
- USA: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SkydivingGear/?ref=br_rs
- UK: https://www.facebook.com/groups/123922417715047/?ref=br_rs
- Ladies only: https://www.facebook.com/groups/725980460820709/?ref=br_rs
- Buy/sell skydiving gear: https://www.facebook.com/BuySell-Skydiving-gear-357838748671/
You can add a maximum of those groups in your favorite for more chance to find what you are looking for. You can also ask by posting a “wanted” post and get sellers to get in touch with you!
Stay safe & Blue Skies!
