So you are now a newly licensed skydiver. Congrats! Now you are thinking about avoiding those rental gear fees and get your own gear, right?

First, you’ll want to go the used route since it will help you save some cash to jump even more!

Do not worry, jumping used equipment is fine as long as you know what to look for.

Second, the 4 pieces of equipment you need are:

  • A reserve canopy
  • A main canopy
  • An AAD
  • The container

Now, this video will go over those elements and give you tips to make wiser decisions in your purchases.

Keep jumping and stay safe!
